The Forensic Program has many developmental and learning opportunities from which students may benefit, whether the focus is in debate, public speaking, performance, student congress, or simply improving communication skills. Students with desire and drive have the opportunity to travel with the Wildcat Forensic Team to competitive tournaments, workshops, and festivals.
Guyer’s Forensic Team competes in University Interscholastic League and National Forensic League competitions. Our tournament season runs from August to June, with opportunities for students to compete in local, regional, state, and national tournaments.
The handbook contains important information about the upcoming year. Please read through it carefully in the next few days so that you can become familiar with the policies and procedures of our program. Keep it handy for reference when necessary.
At the back of the handbook are forms that should be completed, signed by parents and students, and returned to the sponsor. Please return them as soon as possible, because you cannot travel without these forms on file.
If you are new to the Wildcat Forensic Team, welcome! We are continuing to build a quality program that works in cooperation with the Guyer Fine Arts Department to provide excellent opportunities for our talented students.
