I had something funny happen at work today. I was looking for things to post to our district library twitter account (http://twitter.com/dentonisdlib). I was looking at national 'days' I could post and link to webpages with information about that day. I saw what I thought said national picnic day. I thought oh, that's a good one for summer. I was getting the post ready and realized it was actually panic day. A little different! It made me think of how we are often in a hurry to get through our days. How often do we glance at something quickly and maybe not understand what it is, or realize the potential. Is there something you have looked at in the past that might be worth a second look? You might have missed that one thing that will turn out to be the best online tool you have ever used. Maybe it’s time for a double take.
