Hello, welcome to Harpool's Health website. I am Barbara Scott the school nurse at Harpool I was the nurse at Calhoun for six years prior to working at Harpool. I'm so excited to be meeting your children for the 09-10 school year.I have been a nurse for over 30 years. I went to school in Chicago, Illinois. I moved to Texas 26 years ago and have been in the Denton area for the last 20 years. I have a family with three grown children. I have worked at the University of Chicago Wyler Children's Hospital in the NICU and was also apart of the neonatal transport team. I also worked at Loyola University Foster McGaw Childrens Hospital in their NICU and was apart of their neonatal transport team as well. After moving to Texas, I then worked at Herrman Hospital with the University of Texas in their high risk labor and delivery unit. I have worked in all aspects of maternal child health nursing. I love working in the school with your children and want to be apart of their healthy education.
