Michael Pricer – Director of Choral Activities
Michael Pricer has enjoyed being a music educator for the past eight years. During that time he has taught middle school and high school choir, as well as, being a private voice instructor. Mr. Pricer’s students have been successful at numerous contest events including UIL Concert & Sight-Reading, TMEA All-State Choir, UIL Solo & Ensemble, and many others.
A graduate of The University of North Texas, Michael holds a Bachelors of Music Degree in Vocal Performance where he performed in several different forums. Michael is a former two time TMEA All-State choir member. He also has been named as a NATS finalist in both classical and musical theater genres and was named Outstanding Musical Theater Male Soloist by the Texas Federation of Private Music Teachers.
For almost half of his life, Michael has also served as a music leader/minister. He currently serves as a worship leader at the Irving Church of Christ in Irving, TX.
Michael is also the music director/conductor for the Denton Community Chorus.
Michael was born in raised in Waco, TX, and it is there that he met his wife of 11 years, Laura. They have two children, Breanna and Jacob.
