    Health Occupation Students of America

    HOSA

HOSA is a national student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Technology Education Division of ACTE. HOSA's two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA's goal is to encourage all health occupations instructors and students to join and be actively involved in the HSTE-HOSA Partnership.

Joining HOSA is required to be considered for membership in the National Technical Honor Society.  HSTE students have the opportunity to join HOSA at their own high school or through the ATC.

Besides being great fun, our HOSA program has been very effective in providing support for “Autism Speaks”, education for elementary students, and lots of opportunities for leadership and learning through HOSA competitive events.

This past year our HOSA members  placed first at the International Leadership Conference in Orlando FL

We look forward to working with students in HOSA knowing that it will add to their learning experience.
