    Background:   I worked for the Denton Police Department for 31 years prior to my retirement in 2011.  During my time at the police department I was assigned to the Patrol Division, the Criminal Investigation Division, the Crime Scene Unit, the Tactical Team, and the Office of Professional Standards.  Following my retirement I choose to become a teacher for the Denton Independent School District where I currently teach the Court Systems and Practices class, the Pre-Law Internship class and the Criminal Investigation class at the ATC.  While employeed with the Denton Police Department I was involved in several high profile investigations, Henry Lee Lucus, Matthew Thomas Clark, Diana Goldston, and Kelly Cox.
