We are excited about the opening of Rodriguez Middle School! Our goal is to promote a caring, safe environment where students are excited about learning. In our life skills classroom we will address the needs of the whole child: academic, social emotional, and functional. We strive for our students to be independent, productive, and respectful citizens.

I am delighted about being a part of the inaugural staff at Rodriguez Middle School as a life skills teacher. Ellen Gauntt, B.S.
My husband and I moved to Texas two years ago and we now live in Oak Point with our rescue dog. We left our two wonderful kids behind attending college in Illinois, but both will be moving here soon! I love, love, love to garden and bake, my husband enjoys woodworking and on the weekends we like exploring small towns together. I have worked in special education for 15 years.
