I grew up in Denton and attended school here from first grade through high school. I played basketball at Ryan High School and graduated in 2002. From there I went to Eastern Oklahoma State College where I played basketball for two years then on to TWU where I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in 2006. In May of 2012 I received my Master's in Education from the University of North Texas. I spent 8 years as a teacher and assistant girls basketball coach at Ryan High School. I am married to Jason Taylor and we are the proud parents of Janiah who is a 4th grader at Woodrow Wilson Elementary.
I love teaching and coaching and thank God everyday that I am blessed to have a job that never really feels like work. I hope that while each student is in my class that they learn not only academics but how to be productive citizens.
Philosophy of Education:
I believe that each child is different and it is my job as an educator to motivate each of my students to do their best at all times.
