I became a substitute teacher in October of the year 2015 and was offered the job as a P.C.A. (Personal Care Attendent) at Denton High two months later.

I was born in California, grew-up in Colorado, and wound-up living in Denton, TX..  After postponing my college deplomia for ten years I decided to graduate from Texas Woman's University with a B.A. in the theatrical arts. During the year '98' I was hired by the independent Selwyn School as their set designer.  Assisting the theatre teacher with a low budget of $30.00 I built full sized sets with pieces varying from automobiles and gingerbread houses to wolf heads used as costume pieces.

Graduating in '99' I moved into Dallas taking the job of Assistant Technical Director for The Dallas Children's Theatre and spent evenings as an actor, designer, fight choreographer, and director for various theatres throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  With a history of performing on stage and busking as a mime I was employed as a guest instructor at Texas Wesleyan University in 2000. There I taught a semister of movement (body language, mime, and pantomime) Tai Chi, and meditation.

While being employeed with Denton ISD I still continue my theatrical opportunities all over the D/FW area.
