Mrs. Carol Richmond

I was born and raised in a small town in western New York state.  I graduated from my hometown college (SUNY College at Fredonia) with  B.S. and  M.S. degrees in chemistry.   I lived in Tuscaloosa, Alabama (Roll Tide!), Bloomington, Indiana, and Houston, Texas before moving to Denton with my family in 1986. While my daughters were in elementary school I enrolled at UNT and completed my M.L.S. degree, my teacher certification in Chemistry (6-12) and my Learning Resources Endorsement (PreK-12).  I joined the faculty at Woodrow Wilson in 1999 as the school's third librarian.  This is my 19th year at Woodrow Wilson and I've seen many changes during that time including the construction of our current library in 2005, but one thing that hasn't changed is that Wilson students love to read!

My husband is a professor of chemistry at UNT and we live in the Wilson zone.  My two daughter and their families live near Oklahoma City.
