Strickland was built in 1968 as the second middle school in Denton ISD and is known for its many traditions and legacies. The school prepares today’s learners to be tomorrow’s leaders through its strong academic programs and its many extracurricular clubs, organizations and events.

Strickland students, family and staff believe in working together to develop a solid educational foundation. Students at Strickland can enroll in gifted and talented classes, career and technology courses, and even enroll in dual-language programs that build on English and Spanish language skills.
