•  Hello

                   from

                Mrs. Hope

From math, to language arts, reading, social studies and science, we are busy learning!

I want to be available to students and their parents. You may always contact me using my email, khope@dentonisd.org, or my phone, 940-369-4241.
My planning period is from 10-11:15 a.m. Although my phone doesn't ring during the school day, (we don't want to interrupt learning!)  I will check my emails and messages first thing in the morning, during my planning period, and after the students leave each day.
I will contact parents through email, phone and through Remind, a text messaging service.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at khope@dentonisd.org
    or 940-369-4241

    Personal Information

I was reared in Florida and although I love the beach, I moved to Texas to go to college. I married a Texan and fell in love with his home state. I've now lived in Texas more years than I did in Florida. I have five children (marriages included!) four adorable grandchildren, a dog and a cat. Although I love to travel and have visited many different places, Denton is the place I want to live.

    Teaching Philosophy

Every child is a unique, precious individual. Also, every child has the capacity to learn although each child learns in different ways. I want to be a positive force in each child’s life. I believe in presenting material in different ways and teaching and re-teaching so each student will learn all that he or she is capable of learning.
