Welcome to my McMath home page. This school year marks my twentieth year as an educator.  I feel very fortunate and blessed by the wonderful students, parents, and colleagues that I have had the opportunity to work with along this journey.

My first nine years I was in the classroom as well as being in the gym.  I started teaching in Stanton, Texas, as a 7th grade Science teacher and 7th/8th grade Girls' Athletics Head Coach. After working there for five years, my daughters and I moved here to Denton.  I then worked at McMath Middle School as a 7th and 8th Science teacher and also 7th/8th grade girls athletic coach.   I completed my  Master's in School Administration and applied for a position to work beside Sam Kelley at Hodge Elementary.  The past nine years was such a learning opportunity for me as an elementary administrator.  Last school year I was offered the opportunity to make a move back to McMath MS and work with Dr. Debbie Nobles and her team.  My career path has allowed me to be rewarded daily.

I am married to a wonderful man named Johnny Francis.  It will be twelve years in February 2017.  He has brought tremendous joy to my life as well as giving me three step sons, two daughter-in-laws and four grandchildren.  My heart melts when I hear the name...NANA!!!

This summer my oldest daughter, Courtney flew from the nest...not too far, just down the road in Lake Dallas.  It was definitely bittersweet.  She will start her third year at NCTC and working full-time to be an independent adult.  My youngest daughter, Caitlyn is now a senior at DHS....Go Denton Broncos!   My house continues to be filled with vocal, energetic and fun-loving teenagers for another year!

I look forward to the chance of working with you and your child(ren) this year.  Please do not hesitate to contact me.
