Welcome to my webpage! I absolutely love teaching P.E., this will be my 30th year.
I received my B.S. in Education and MED in Exercise Science from the University of Houston. Although I never played a sport, I have run in many marathons and half-marathons. I hope this translates to my P.E. classes. Physical fitness carries over to all aspects of life and my goal is that all students will become more physically fit and find a sport or activity they enjoy to continue for a lifetime.
In order for this to happen, we have procedures and consequences. The following expectations will make P.E. successful and enjoyable for everyone.
1. Listen carefully
2. Respect others
3. Follow directions and work hard
4. Play safely
5. Have fun
2. Time-out and note sent home
3. Call the parent or guardian
4. Refer to counselor and principal
5. Send to principal for fighting or threats
Special events this year include:
Annual Mustang Marathon,Wilson Running Club, Family Fitness Night, 5th Grade Track Meet, and Field Day.
