Navo Middle School, which was named after a small farming community, has emerged into an outstanding school built among several fast-growing neighborhoods with the campus as the hub of the community.
Navo is known for its growing and diverse population that strives to succeed and include everyone. Students at Navo have the opportunity to take a variety of academic courses and participate in numerous activities. Navo students can enroll in gifted and talented courses, join the iBots robotics program or write for the school newspaper, The Panther Press.
As we begin the 2013-14 school year, we want to be certain that you have access to the Home Access Center (HAC) so that you are able to track your student’s grades, attendance, and discipline throughout the school year. Please contact the NAVO campus to complete set-up for you Home Access Account.
To prevent accidents with middle school students riding bicycles with motor vehicles, Denton ISD has a way to begin to educate our parents and students about bicycle safety. It is a short, but very informative, four page pamphlet dealing with bike safety that would benefit all riders, children and adults.
Located here, you will find a copy of the State of Texas 2012-13 School Report Card for Navo Middle School. This is the report required by the Texas Legislature and prepared by the Texas Education Agency. It is to be sent to the parent or guardian of every child enrolled in the public schools. The report provides information concerning expenditures, average class size, and teacher/student ratios.
