• Ms. Bryant's Biography

My name is Sarah Bryant and I am so happy to be your child's second grade teacher this year! I am starting my eighth year at Rivera Elementary. My experience includes teaching second grade and working in the special education department with third through fifth grades. I am a graduate of Texas Woman's University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am certified to teach Early Childhood through 4th grade Education, Early Childhood through 4th Special Education and English as a Second Language. I love everything about elementary education and strive to make learning a fun and positive experience for my students. I have three wonderful children, Tristan, who is in 10th grade, Caden, who is in 7th grade, and Caleb, who is in 5th grade. We also have a dog, Queenie, and two cats, Bobbie and June. Our house is very busy to say the least! I am the oldest of two children and have a little sister named Amanda. Amanda is recently married and resides in Virginia and works in Washington, D.C..  We only see her during her trips back to Texas and on holidays. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, spending time with my friends and family, and traveling. My family loves to go to the beach and we make a trip to the coast every summer. We enjoy picking up sea shells and making sand castles. Caden thinks he is a "Pro Surfer" and loves to show off his skills on the waves. As you can see I stay very busy and rarely have a dull moment!
