It is my belief that access to education is the great equalizer of our society. Each individual has the opportunity and the ability to empower themselves by pursuing knowledge.
I love to learn and I hope to inspire my students to become lifelong learners.
I do my best each and everyday to love, teach and interact with your children, as I would my own.
I was a nurse for many years before beginning to teach. I worked with babies, children, teens and pregnant women. I began to study Spanish for my nursing career and fell in love with the language and the people.
Teaching is the toughest and most rewarding career I could hope to have.
I have a wonderful husband, four adult children and one grandchild. My favorite activities are: walking, yoga, gardening, reading, hiking, camping and, of course, spending time with my grand daughter!
I LOVE KIDS, with all their blessings and challenges, energy and laziness, flexibility and stubbornness, confidence and insecurities. I love them exactly as they are, and only pray that I can help them in some small way, to develop the tools they will need to realize their hopes and dreams.
