Welcome to Guyer High School: Home of State Champions

Guyer High School symbolizes the commitment the citizens of Denton ISD have toward providing a quality education for young people in the community. It offers a variety of academics from Advanced Placement classes for state-of-the-art science, math and technology programs.

There is a place and a special activity that fits the needs of each of its students as it provides numerous extra-curricular programs in academics, fine arts and athletics. The GHS staff is committed to providing GHS students with the skills they need to lead successful – and productive – lives.

  • GHS School Photos

    On Tuesday, September 8 the underclassmen (grades 9, 10, 11) will take their yearbook/ID photo if they did not take a photo during schedule pick-up. Students will be scheduled throughout the day on Tuesday. Sept. 8. Lists will be posted by this Friday in the hallways. Order forms are available in the front office or room H166. Seniors last opportunity to take a photo is October 6.

  • Registration Codes: Parents or guardians of returning Denton ISD students received snapcodes for InfoSnap online student registration over the summer. Following online registration, proof of residency and updated immunization records must be submitted to a student's campus. Click here for information on the registration process.

  • Braswell High School: Construction on Denton ISD's fourth comprehensive high school is currently underway in the eastern portion of the district. Dr. Ray Braswell High School will be located on the southeast corner of Navo Road and U.S. Highway 380 and is scheduled to open in time for the 2016-17 school year.
