Guyer High School symbolizes the commitment the citizens of Denton ISD have toward providing a quality education for young people in the community. It offers a variety of academics from Advanced Placement classes for state-of-the-art science, math and technology programs.
There is a place and a special activity that fits the needs of each of its students as it provides numerous extra-curricular programs in academics, fine arts and athletics. The GHS staff is committed to providing GHS students with the skills they need to lead successful – and productive - lives.
Guyer High School violinist Inki Lee and Ryan High School bassist Harry Dearman earned places on the All-State Philharmonic and Symphonic Orchestra, respectively, beating hundreds of competing musicians for the honors.
Guyer High School’s Josh Hamilton and Karen Gossett will be recognized for their esteemed work in speech and debate by a leading national association. The teachers were honored for their students' superb performances.
The late bus is for students who need to attend tutorials, get extra help in classes, and/or attend club meetings. Students will be able to use the late bus on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
