Guyer High School symbolizes the commitment the citizens of Denton ISD have toward providing a quality education for young people in the community. It offers a variety of academics from Advanced Placement classes for state-of-the-art science, math and technology programs.
There is a place and a special activity that fits the needs of each of its students as it provides numerous extra-curricular programs in academics, fine arts and athletics. The GHS staff is committed to providing GHS students with the skills they need to lead successful – and productive - lives.
Barbara Fischer, the only principal Guyer High School has known, has announced her retirement, ending a storied history with Denton Independent School District. Fischer, who helped open the school in 2005, will retire after nearly 30 years with Denton ISD.

The late bus is for students who need to attend tutorials, get extra help in classes, and/or attend club meetings. Students will be able to use the late bus on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
