Philosophy of Education
Education is the cornerstone of our culture and the best strategy, we as a society, has towards building a better tomorrow. Education is always evolving and requires an intense and intentional focus on reaching and developing all children. To be considered an educator is one of the greatest privileges and responsibilities one can take on. It takes accountability and an engaged effort by teachers, students, parents, administrators, and the community to fully develop and nurture the growth of our youth towards becoming great leaders and citizens.
Boy's Asst. Soccer Coach
For the last 15 years, Coach Fichera has happily called Denton County his home. Graduating in 2008 from the University of North Texas with a degree in Anthropology, he is eager to give back to the city that has helped in his growth and development. Originally from the Northeast, Coach Fichera has spent the majority of his years traveling and playing soccer throughout the world and learning from many great players and coaches. Having been given great opportunities to play the sport at every level, including playing with Dallas’s own FC Dallas, he now wants to take his experiences as a player and share it with other young aspiring athletes towards helping them reach their goals. He not only impresses the importance of developing talent on the field, but takes great pride in helping others see their uniqueness and being accountable to their off field choices.
