    The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to present a visible commitment to living a safe, healthy, and drug-free life. The campaign is designed to create awareness concerning the problems related to the use of tobacco, alchohol, and other drugs and to support the decision to live a drug-free lifestyle.

     

    Lions are PROUD to be DRUG FREE!

     

    Please help your child celebrate and honor Red Ribbon Week by participating in the fun theme days we will be having next week!

    Monday, Oct. 23

     

    Peace Out to Drugs!

     

    “Be Totally Cool”

    Wear Peace signs and/or Tie dye.

    Tuesday, Oct. 24

     

    Friends Don’t Let Friends Do Drugs!

     

    “Twin Tuesday”

    Pick a friend and dress the same.

    Wednesday, Oct. 25

     

    Put a lid on Drugs!

     

    “Lid Wednesday”

    Wear a hat.

    Thursday, Oct. 26

     

    Show your Character by being drug free.

    “Character Day”

    Wear a t-shirt with your favorite cartoon or movie character.

    Friday, Oct. 27

    BE Bold and BE Drug Free!

    “Red Out Day”

    Wear as much red as possible.
