Background: After graduating from college, I worked for a non-profit shelter where I was first introduced to advocating for children. I later pursued a career in the field of mental health/substance abuse which impacted my compassion for others. I found my career in teaching later than most, but was able to receive my alternative certification in the field of Special Education. I have worked with students ranging from 6th to 12th grade and am excited to have another great year at Braswell High School!
Philosophy on Education: I believe that all students can learn, but sometimes students learn at different paces and with different strategies. Since I believe all students can learn, I'll be your student's biggest cheerleader to help them be successful in Math!
