Fred Moore High School provides a true alternative climate where a student can graduate at his or her own pace. The school offers a compassionate learning environment that focuses on the academics needed to obtain a high school diploma.

Fred Moore assists students to stay in school – especially those facing challenging circumstances. It is a great alternative for students who want a change from the traditional high school setting. To enhance that compassionate learning environment, Fred Moore offers small classes and flexible schedules to assist students in accelerating their academic goals.

Proposed Bond Projects for Fred Moore High School

The Denton ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to call a $750.5 million bond election to be held on May 5, 2018. The bond addresses student enrollment growth, renovations to facilities, equity, infrastructure, security systems, career & technical education and extracurricular activities.

Fred Moore students were out keeping our city beautiful by participating in the Great American Cleanup on March 24, 2018.

FMHS Spring Graduation May 22, 2018

Fred Moore HS Spring Commencement Ceremony will be held at UNT's Gateway Center at 2 pm on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Doors will open to the public at 1 pm. Students who are not graduating will attend the ceremony by bus.

After being nominated by librarian Miranda Pena, Fred Moore High School student and avid reader Eloise Bourns was selected as a winner for Texas author Mari Mancusi’s Magical Mondays Book Giveaway.

Single Sign-On Portal: Need a better way to manage all your account passwords? A Single Sign-On Portal is now available for Denton ISD students and staff members. This portal will allow students and staff to save their sign-in information for a variety of services and websites so they can use it to automatically sign into those services and websites in the future.
