• Individual Planning

Each student is unique and must find his or her own special path in life. Counselors can meet with students individually to help assess his or her progress, set future goals, and make plans to meet those goals.

In individual planning sessions, counselors help students:

    develop necessary study skills

    become aware of educational opportunities

    make appropriate course selections

understand achievement and aptitude test scores

examine his or her own personal interests

explore the world of work and career opportunities

gather information about career or technical training programs

make personal growth and learning a way of life
