    Description

    1

    Beginning

    I needed teacher support throughout the task;

    or

    I independently completed the task, but did not demonstrate understanding of the concept or skill.

    2

    Developing

    I needed some teacher support to successfully demonstrate my understanding;

    or

    I independently demonstrated some understanding of the concept or skill.

    3

    Meets Standard

    independently demonstrated an accurate/reasonable understanding of the concept or skill.

    4

    Advanced

    independently demonstrated a deep and sophisticated understanding ofthe concept or skill.
