On behalf of Denton ISD, welcome to Bettye Myers Middle School. We are thrilled about the opening of this new campus, and about the traditions that will be established. We are excited about the opportunity of opening a brand new school, and we are looking forward to serving the families of Bettye Myers Middle School. With a passion for education, I feel blessed to come to work each and every day. All children are an inspiration, and we look forward to guiding their steps into the future.

Bettye Myers Middle School will not open its doors until the Fall of 2013, yet there is much work to do! As part of a new school community, we have the awesome opportunity of creating a home away from home for the students who will attend this school. Parent involvement is vital to helping us ensure the success of all of our students. Our partnership will build a school filled with enthusiastic learners and leaders prepared for tomorrow. Together we will establish a Tradition of Excellence and a Tradition of Pride through our shared decision making.
