Hello, Paloma Creek Falcons! My name is Amanda Qualls and I am your new school librarian. This is my first year at Paloma Creek and I am very excited to be a part of such a wonderful school!
Since 1994, I have lived, worked, and played in Denton. I am married to a wonderful man named Billy, and we have two beautiful daughters, Kaitlyn and Kaeley. My oldest daughter, Kaitlyn is a sophomore at Texas Woman's University, where she is majoring in business and marketing. My youngest daughter, Kaeley, is a senior at Denton High School. Kaeley plan's is to major in anthropology at UNT after graduation.
For the last six years, I have worked as an early childhood teacher with Denton ISD. My alma mater is Texas Woman's University, where I received my bachelor’s degree in 2004 and my master’s degree in 2009. In 2013, I went back to TWU take the graduate hours in library science required to become a school librarian. In mid-2015, I officially became a certified Texas school librarian and very happily found a new home for myself here at Paloma Creek Elementary.
I am so happy to join the Falcons family and with your help, I know we will have a wonderful year!
