Kindergarten  & New Student Registration

• If you have not yet registered your child for Kindergarten, or if your child is new to Denton ISD, you can register online after July 15th.  You can access the parent registration information for New Students at the following link:

  Our office will be closed for the summer until August 1, 2013.  Once you register, you must bring your child's birth certificate, shot records, social security card, and proof of your residency (utility bill, lease agreement or mortgage statement) as soon as possible on or after August 1 so we can officially place your child in a classroom.  If you experience difficulty registering online, you may come to the office on or after August 1, and use the computers here for assistance.

• And....since High School freshman have "Fish Day" before school starts....... McNair is offering our first "Guppy Camp" on August 19th, from 1:00 to 2:30pm for all registered Kindergarteners and their parents!  New Kindergarteners will get to meet the Kinder teachers, and will rotate through fun activities with the Art, Music, Library, and PE teachers to get adjusted to their new school and routines. They will experience the cafeteria line process and receive a snack of goldfish (it's Guppy camp!) and a drink.  During this time, Mr. Flynn and Mrs. Poole will provide a brief orientation to the Kindergarten parents.  Your child will need to be registered before August 19th in order to participate in Guppy Camp.
