Classroom Technology

Welcome to our Classroom Technology Homepage!
 
Each classroom is equipped with at least 3 desktop computers for student use.  The computers contain various educational software, such as Reading Counts and others, that enhance the students' learning of all subject matter.  The computers are connected to the District Network and have high-speed internet access. 
 
Also available for instructional use are document cameras (used to project book and paper images onto a large white screen) and digital cameras.  We have two mobile laptop carts with 16 laptops on each that can be used in the classrooms.
 
Every classroom has been equipped with a ceiling-mounted projector that teachers will use throughout the year to project the images from their computer.  Classroom teachers can show software programs and provide content-area technology instruction on a large screen for the whole class or small groups.
