|About Our Library |
The Pecan Creek Library is open daily, Monday through Friday, from 7:35am-3:20pm. Students come with their class to the library each week for story time, library lessons, research activities, and/or checkout time. Students are welcome and encouraged to come to the library in between class visits to turn in books they've finished reading and check out new ones. Kinder and 1st grade students check out 1 book every week but leave their books at school; 2nd graders check out 1 book per week; 3rd graders check out 2 books every week; 4th & 5th graders check out 3 books every other week. No late fees are charged, but students must return overdue books before being allowed to check out new ones.
