I grew up on a farm and ranch in rural west Texas where I spent most of my time playing outdoors.  I particularly enjoyed taking walks with my dad down the creek that ran through our property, hunting for arrowheads, and catching baby Texas horned lizards!  Later on, I attended Angelo State University and Texas Woman’s University to get my teaching certificate and my library science degree.  The 2012-2013 school year will mark my 25th year in education. My husband and I enjoy gardening, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and our 6 grandchildren!
