![]() The Guyer High School Choral Department, made up of over 175 students in five performing ensembles, is committed to the philosophy of teaching young adults to become fluent in the Fine Art of performance and musicianship. It is our philosophy to teach students to not only perform but to give them a life long skill of creating artistry through the use of voice and the desire to achieve success through hard work, dedication, and commitment. Music is a universal language and connects people together from all around the world, regardless of culture, beliefs, or societal labels. Guyer Choirs sing at numerous school and community events and participate in five major concerts throughout the year. The performance choirs travel to festivals and contests around the country. Guyer Choir students frequently place as members of TMEA All-Region and All-State Choirs and are recipients of numerous superior and UIL Sweepstakes awards. There is a place for everyone in GHS Choir! Please visit our website for more information about the Wildcat Choirs.
