  • Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Stars on the Rise--Seniors--deadline 4/15/11

    High school seniors in the greater Dallas area are invited to apply for the Stars on the Rise Scholarship, ranging from $1000 to $180,000.  Below are the requirements to apply:

    · SAT minimum score 1050

    · ACT score range 23-25

    · GPA varies

    · Proven advanced placement courses

  • Leadership Award 2011--Texas Lyceum

    please e-mail application, essay, recommendation and transcript no later than February 15, 2011 to administrator@texaslyceum.org
    The Texas Lyceum provides 5 scholarships in the amount of $2000 to entering freshmen at accredited Texas Colleges and universities.  Awards are based on the following criteria:
    Personal Essays (2)
    Academics (TAKS; SAT/ACT; GPA; Class Rank; Rigor of coursework
    Activities (Employment/volunteer/Leadership--longevity and variety of involvement).

  • UT Scholarships

    University of Texas offers a variety of scholarship programs including the new 40 Acres Scholarship program designed to recruit and recognize exceptional students and nurturing their development as future leaders.  Current seniors (graduating 2011) will be the first students eligible to apply.  See requirements for this and other UT programs ( Named Scholarships; Freshman Scholarships, Transfer Scholarships, General Scholarships, Specific Scholarships, and Recommended Scholarships at the UT website listed below.  Deadline for all scholarship applications is December 1.
