    The enrollment process for the 2017-18 school year for all new and returning Denton ISD students will open in July, using Infosnap, the district’s online registration system.

  • Trustees Unanimously Call for Tax Ratification Election (TRE)

    The TRE will not ask voters to approve an increase to the current tax rate of $1.54, it will simply ask for an approval of swapping two cents from the debt service tax (currently 50 cents) to the maintenance and operations tax (currently at $1.04) for the upcoming school year.

  • Freshman First Day of School

    Denton ISD’s Freshman First Day program allows incoming freshmen students an early, first-hand look at their respective campuses on Tuesday, August 15. The program allows first-year high school students to become acclimated to the larger campuses.

  • Chris Bomberger Named New Director of Child Nutrition

    A veteran of the collegiate campus dining and high-end restaurant industry, Mr. Bomberger also brings eight years of experience in school district environment. He is replacing Robin Wantland, who is retiring at the end of June after 17 years with Denton ISD.

  • 2017 Free Summer Meal Information

    With the Summer Food Service Program, children and teens ages 18 and younger can continue to eat healthy throughout the summer at no cost, just by showing up at a participating meal site. No form of identification is required, kids simply show up.

  • Single Sign-On Portal: Need a better way to manage all your acount passwords? A Single Sign-On Portal is now available for Denton ISD students and staff members. This portal will allow students and staff to save their sign-in information for a variety of services and websites so they can use it to automatically sign into those services and websites in the future.

  • Tax Rate Update: Denton Independent School District adopted a tax rate for the 2016-17 school year that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's rate. The tax rate will effectively be raised by 8.063% and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $77.59.
