Welcome to the Gonzalez School for Young Children's Health Room web page.
 
My name is Cindy Fitzgerald. I am a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma. I am married and have 3 adult children. They are all Denton High School Graduates.
 
I have been an RN for 33 years. The first part of my nursing career I worked in a  Neonatal ICU and Neonatal Care Flight and Transport Team.  After 13 years of working in the hospital setting with newborn infants and 2 years in a pediatric clinic, my family and I moved to Denton.  At that time I started working with Denton ISD. This is my 19th year as a school nurse with Denton ISD. During these 19 years, I have worked with Pre-K students all the way through High School students.
