Student Email Accounts

The student email has been expanded to include a SkyDrive with 7G of storage as well as access to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote, all inside the virtual cloud for DISD. Click here to access your SkyDrive.

To access your email, click here. Your log in is your ID#. Your password is now your birth month (two digit format), birthday (two digit format), birth year (four digit format), dot, first initial of first name (lower case). So for example, John Doe, born March 7, 1998, would be 03071998.j

· On the first page you see, you should fill out the information using their new password and security question of their choice. Once you click submit, you should be directed to OWA. Click here for images to help log in.

· At this point, you should log out of OWA and immediately log back in again. The reason is because upon your second attempt to login, they will be prompted with page 2 of this attachment. For the following fields, the district is recommending:

o Phone number – main campus line

o Alternate email address – use forgotpassword@dentonisd.org. Please note the domain is NOT dentonstudent.org…it is dentonisd.org.

o Trusted PC – leave blank

o Security question – this is only if you wishes to change the questions they entered earlier.

· Press OK. The account is now functioning and will go to OWA without prompting for additional security questions.

Remember to always follow the guidelines set forth in Denton ISD's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) or risk losing your network account. These are in effect no matter who you email or communicate with while using your account.
