Fred Moore accepting Band-Aid donations for local day care

The Fred Moore High School Interact Club, the school’s student service organization, is sponsoring a Band-Aid drive to benefit the Fred Moore Day Care, which is housed adjacent to the high school, from Jan. 18-22.

Students, families and community members are encouraged to donate a box of Band-Aids that have cartoon characters on them. Interact Club members will create a Band-Aid binder for the day care. When a child has an injury and needs a Band-Aid, he or she can choose a character from the band aid binder.

The drive will run during regular school hours, meaning interested individuals can drop off Band-Aids from 8:50 a.m. to 4:10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, to Friday, Jan. 22. Donations can be dropped off at the front desk of the school, located at 815 Cross Timber St. in Denton.
