Golf tournament benefiting Harpool band set for April 11

A golf tournament raising funds for the Harpool Middle School band will take place April 11 in Lantana, providing community members with a chance to support one of their school’s fine arts programs with a round of golf.

The four-person scramble golf tournament will be held at the Lantana Golf Club, located at 800 Golf Club Dr. in the master-planned community, with a full round of 18 holes available to each participant. Golfers will range balls and a free replay card for the Lantana Golf Club, which will provide golf cards during the event. Additionally, a silent auction and raffle with prizes from local businesses will also be held.

Registration is $100 per person – $400 per foursome – beginning at 11:30 a.m. the day of the tournament. The event will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m., followed by an awards dinner at 6 p.m.

In addition to participation as a golfer, sponsorship opportunities are available beginning with a tee/green sponsor at $150. Other opportunities include a putting green sponsorship for $500, a scorecard sponsorship for $1,000, a banner sponsorship for $1,500 and a cart sponsorship for $2,000. All sponsorships except for the tee/green opportunity include a four-person team entry in the tournament and a dinner for four at the post-tournament dinner.
