Denton ISD Night with RoughRiders set for May 20

Students, families and teachers are invited to a special discounted Frisco RoughRiders game on May 20, with a portion of each ticket purchased in the name of Denton ISD directly benefiting impending graduates and current educators.

The Denton Public School Foundation is partnering with the RoughRiders, the AA affiliate of the Texas Rangers, to host the game, which will take place 7 p.m. Friday, May 20, at Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco. Fans will see the RoughRiders play the San Antonio Missions knowing that $5 of their discounted $20 ticket will go toward scholarships and grants for Denton ISD students and teachers.

Each $20 ticket includes free food (unlimited hot dogs, brats, chips, peanuts and Dr Pepper products) and a limited edition RoughRiders souvenir. In addition to the game and amenities, every person who purchases a ticket for the game will be automatically entered into a drawing to represent Denton ISD and throw out the game’s ceremonial first pitch.

Tickets can be purchased online by clicking on this link or via physical mail by printing and filling out this form and following the instructions at the bottom right.
