Golf tournament raising funds for Guyer band set for May 23

The Guyer High School Band Booster Club will host a golf tournament May 23, with sponsorship opportunities and registration available immediately for community members looking to support the organization’s namesake musical program.

Registration for the event, which will take place at Oakmont Country Club in Corinth, is available either on an individual or foursome basis, with entry costing $100 per person or $400 per foursome. Event-day registration will take place at 11 a.m., the same time a putting contest will begin and lunch is available, followed by the tournament itself at 1 p.m. A shotgun start – using a four-man Florida scramble – will kick off the tournament.

Following the tournament, dinner will be available at 5:30 p.m. for participants while awards and door prizes are given out.

In addition to participation as a golfer, sponsorship opportunities are available beginning with a tee and hold sponsorship at $100. Other entry-level opportunities include a contest sponsorship for $200 and a beverage cart sponsorship for $500.

High-level sponsorship opportunities at the silver, gold and platinum levels are available for $1,000, $2,000 and $3,000, respectively. These sponsorships include four-, eight- and 12-player registration, respectively, for the tournament and dinner as well as prominent inclusion in the tournament brochure, press releases and signage.
