Myers hosting college and career night on May 3

Students of all ages are invited to Myers Middle School on Tuesday, May 3, to learn from about collegiate educational offerings as well as employment paths at the school’s college and career night.

The event will last from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria and feature more than a dozen colleges providing information about their educational opportunities; for a full list of colleges attending, view the chart at the bottom of this page. Additionally, more than 20 businesses or professionals will present information about potential career paths, including architects, an artist, law offices, pediatricians, a photographer, police personnel, a TV news station, wildlife experts and more.

For those who would like to attend the event and eat dinner at the same time, In-N-Out Burger will sell meal tickets during all Myers lunch periods until April 27. A $5 ticket purchased at this time will provide a burger, chips and drink that will be provided fresh during college and career night.

For more information about the event, please contact April Harris, event coordinator, by phone at 940-369-1615 or via email at aharris2@dentonisd.org.
