GOAL Cup Soccer Tournament set for May 12

Denton Independent School District’s GOAL – Guys/Girls Operating As Leaders – student enrichment program will host its sixth annual season-ending soccer tournament on Saturday, May 12, with games scheduled to take place at Ryan High School.

The GOAL Cup soccer tournament features club teams from six of Denton ISD’s middle schools and six elementary schools. Students on each club are part of the district GOAL program, aimed at developing leadership skills in and out of the classroom through academic exercises, teamwork activities and soccer.

The winning boys and girls clubs will each get to keep the prestigious GOAL Cups on their campuses throughout the 2018-19 school year.
