  • Trustees Unanimously Call for Tax Ratification Election (TRE)

    The TRE will not ask voters to approve an increase to the current tax rate of $1.54, it will simply ask for an approval of swapping two cents from the debt service tax (currently 50 cents) to the maintenance and operations tax (currently at $1.04) for the upcoming school year.

    With the Summer Food Service Program, children and teens ages 18 and younger can continue to eat healthy throughout the summer at no cost, just by showing up at a participating meal site. No form of identification is required, kids simply show up.

    A veteran of the collegiate campus dining and high-end restaurant industry, Mr. Bomberger also brings eight years of experience in school district environment. He is replacing Robin Wantland, who is retiring at the end of June after 17 years with Denton ISD.
