    Denton High Spanish students attained national recognition for excellent performance on the 2018 National Spanish Examinations. Students from Denton High School earned a total of nine gold, 22 silver and 21 bronze medals along with 27 honorable mentions.

  • DHS Student Creates Winning Mural Design

    Denton High School junior, Grayson Lovette, has won the Mellow Mushroom Mural Design contest. The prize includes creating the grand-scale mural in the Mellow Mushroom restaurant here in Denton, a $500 cash prize and discounted pizza for a year.

  • Voters Approve Denton ISD Bond Proposition

    Denton Independent School District voters overwhelmingly approved the school district’s bond proposal with 74.4% of voters in favor of the $750.5 million capital improvement plan, the largest in the district’s history, and a record 10,615 votes were cast.

    The Guyer Girls Water Polo Team have won their first state championship.The team finished with a perfect season of 31-0. The following girls were selected to the All-State team: Presley Woods, Carley Manuel, Lexi Wong and State MVP Katherine Cullen.
