    The district's Board of School Trustees voted unanimously to rename Robert E. Lee Elementary after Alice Moore Alexander, an educator who served our local community for more than 40 years, and Union Park Elementary, after the community where it will stand.

  • Children's Theatre Workshop Set for Dec. 2 at Denton High

    Bring your child and shop the annual DHS Choir Craft Fair! Your child will mask making, prop crafting and perform skits. This workshop is open to all elementary-aged students. Registration is required and closes Tuesday, November 28.

  • Students Selected for 2017-18 TMEA All-Region Orchestras

    Denton ISD schools had 45 high school students and 47 middle school students earn positions in the TMEA All-Region Orchestras. These students will perform in the All-Region Orchestra Concert, Saturday, December 9, at the Eaton HS Performing Arts Center in Haslet.

    The Jim Collin/Steve Allen Memorial Golf Event, the first annual joint effort by the Lewisville ISD Education Foundation (LEF) and the Denton Public School Foundation (DPSF), grossed over $100,000 for student scholarships.
