Guyer orchestra director hosting album release, concert June 3
Michelle Hanlon, orchestra director at Guyer High School, will host an event promoting her debut album and feature a live performance at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, in the Guyer High School auditorium.
The event will feature musical numbers from Mrs. Hanlon’s debut album “This Is My Day” followed by a post-show reception. There will also be screening of a music video accompanying her debut album.
A graduate of the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s in music education, Mrs. Hanlon has an emphasis in violin, cello and piano and is a member of the DFW area Concerto Antico-Baroque ensemble. She has been the orchestra director at Guyer since the school opened and also teaches fifth-grade orchestra at McNair Elementary.
