Stephens student’s art to be featured at TAEA conference
Anthony Xiao, a fifth-grade student at Stephens Elementary, was recently honored by the Texas Art Education Association by having his artwork featured across the state.
Anthony’s artwork was selected by TAEA as the centerpiece of its marketing efforts behind the organization’s annual conference in San Antonio this November. Anthony’s name and artwork was selected out of thousands of entries to be on the button with the slogan, “ART Keeps Kids in School.”
TAEA consistently provides avenues for children across the state to showcase their work and promotes the importance of promoting art education and students’ artwork within their communities.
