Linda Cavazos-Tucker named principal at Evers Elementary

Linda Cavazos-Tucker, currently principal at John Good Elementary School in Irving ISD, has been named principal of Evers Park Elementary School.

She has been principal at Good Elementary for the past two years, where she helped implement a one-way dual language model and successful Partners in Education programs. She also was a principal at Pierce Early Childhood School for five years and an assistant principal at Otis Brown elementary for one year – all with Irving ISD.

She was an administrative intern for San Angelo ISD and was a bilingual and dual language teacher for four years in that district.

She received her bachelor's in education degree and her master's in educational administration from Angelo State University. She currently is working on her doctorate of education at the University of North Texas. She is a member of Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association.
