Ms. Mary Chancellor
My name is Mary Chancellor and I love teaching first grade at Borman Elementary. This is my 28th year in education and my 8th year here at Borman. Go Astros! Students, parents, and staff here make this a wonderful place to be! Over the years, I’ve taught 4th and 5th grade, high school gifted and talented, served as the gifted/talented coordinator, and I was an instructional coach. As an instructional coach, I had the honor of working with 18 amazing first year teachers who taught me so much! I also taught intro to education classes at North Central Texas College for several years. I received my B.S. in Elementary Education and Special Education from Texas Woman’s University and my M.Ed. in Elementary Education and Gifted Education from the University of North Texas.
I love being in the classroom! It gives me great pleasure and joy to experience learning with your child! I know this is going to be a wonderful year!
I have two grown sons, Bobby and Scott, and a wonderful daughter-in-law, Aleyda. I also have two precious grandchildren: Ethan is 18 and Madison is 14. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, reading, listening to music, playing games, and spending time with family.
I am always happy to meet with you and learn more about your child. If you would like to contact me, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call Borman Elementary School at 940-369-2500.
