Parking Spots:
To paint your parking spots, there are several steps in the process to gain permission to paint (You don’t have to hold to this order except for step #2 - you have to complete #1 first before paying for the permit.)
-
You must fill out the BHS Parking Permit form, giving your school ID, license number, license plate number & insurance.
-
Once that form is completed you can go to the Braswell High School Bookkeeper IN PERSON (Dates are for SENIORS only!) with EXACT cash or check for $25.00 (no money is given back for incorrect amounts; no coins accepted)
-
You must pay for your parking spot (Senior Class Fundraiser for $50.00) online at square: or with cash in person on 8/5 at the Senior Sunrise.
-
You must fill out this Senior Parking Spot Agreement (Some of you have done this already)
-
You must email Anna Seibert your parking spot design with your requested spot number (pick from the white available spots in this doc)
-
You must confirm you have completed all of the above in person at the Senior Sunrise on 8/5 to either Dr. Seibert or Mrs. Woodson prior to starting to paint. If you do not have all of these steps completed, you may be required to clean off your spot and start fresh.
Additional Details for Painting Day:
Make sure you are aware of the rules for the spot and be sure to obey them:
-
You will need to bring your own Paint. Options: paint can only be water based exterior latex; no spray, reflective or fluorescent permitted): Sherman Williams paint is NOT recommended. It will peel off the parking space) (Note: Consider sharing with others.)
-

• No negative or rude language (Be nice).
• No “gang-style tagging.”
• No double entendres (Double meanings).

• Prohibited items will be painted over at the discretion of administration. Disciplinary action may be taken and you may forfeit your right to a parking space and /or to park on campus.
-
You must paint within (not on/over) the white lines that mark the spot. You will be required to fix the white lines if you do not follow this rule.
-
You cannot paint on the curb if your spot is in front of the curb.
-
Supplies to consider bringing: paint, tape, chalk (to draw image first, then paint over), roller handles, rollers, brushes, bucket, broom, blankets/towels to sit on, canopy/tent to cover you.
Note: We will have limited supplies available for students to share. We also strongly recommend that students share supplies amongst themselves.
PAINTING DAY: Painting day is August 5, 2024.
** IF you do not start to paint your spot or do not complete the painting on 8/5, you have permission to finish painting on the morning of Tuesday 8/6 or on Saturday 8/10.
