• General Test Guidelines

    THINGS YOU SHOULD DO:

    1. Make sure you are familiar with the test and directions. Number of questions, types, time, dictionary use, calculator, formula charts.
    2. Practice so you are comfortable with both.
    3. EAT A GOOD BREAKFAST AND GET PLENTY OF REST BEFORE THE TEST!
    4. Keep Moving:  Never spend lots of time on any one question until you have tried all of the questions in the test. Put a ? next to questions you worked but are unsure of and need to double check.  Put an X next to questions you didn’t answer at all.
    5. Check you answer sheet.  Be sure you put the right answer on the right place on the answer document.  Keep them close together and check frequently that the question you answered is the same one you just bubbled.
    6. Don’t throw away points by being careless.
    7. Use your test booklet as scratch paper.
    8. Eliminate choices whenever possible.
    9. To avoid feeling overwhelmed, fold back your test booklet so only one page shows at a time.
    10. DON’T PANIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    DON’T PANIC 101:

    1. Stop
