    What you should do:

    Form 1095-C should be kept with your yearly tax information. (In the event of an IRS audit, you may be asked for proof of health coverage Form 1095-C) 

    Double-check that all information especially names, addresses, Social Security numbers, and coverage is correct.

    Employees are required to accept or decline coverage during your initial enrollment period (30 days from hire/contract start date) and/or during open enrollment each year.
